PRI OGUN STATE REPORT

The whole activities started from Lagos where we have first PNI formal meeting. From there representative of each stakeholders were chosen for the State and other appointment of the key officers were made to formally drive the PRI to the next level. Similarly, members from the State were mobilized to propagate the PRI and its concept. Coordinators were chosen from some of the local government area in the State, while those coordinators worked tirelessly to implement our concept within their locality.

The State Exco meeting was held at the capital of the State with encouraged numbers of comrades and inclusive of some coordinators of other State, such as Lagos, Oyo & Ondo as well as South-West Coordinator. Group photography was documented.

Campaigns for General Muhammadu Buhari and APC Governorship candidate Senator Ibikunle Amosun (SIA) were seriously taken into consideration. Members attended both of GMB & SIA rally at every region of the State along with our representatives. Members involved in house to house campaign of GMB and other rightful candidates of APC.

On the day of the election, members made underneath campaign for GMB at our various senatorial districts in the State and monitored the election from each polling unit to the State level. PNI Ogun State members continued her assignment till after gubernatorial election and had maximum support to the Governor re-elect in our State.

Members participated in the APC Women Rally for GMB (led by the PRI South-West Coordinator). Members organised local GMB Rally in conjunction with Buhari Canvassers Group and paid Courtesy Call on the Patron, Alhaji Adeyemi in Lagos (led by National coordinator). The State actively supported our member, Hon. Idowu Olowofuja, who ran for the Ogun State House of Assembly and was elected.

The State distributed BSO donation and registration cards to the people of the state.
